Book excerpt: Richard Holden (1609-1695/1696), son of William Holden, immigrated from England to Watertown, Massachusetts, and married Martha Fosdick. Justinian Holden immigrated on the same ship as Richard, and was probably a brother. They were later among the early settlers at Groton, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Ohio, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada. Includes some family history and ancestry in England.
