Book Synopsis A Hiking Guide to the Theodore Solomons Trail by : Gary Buscombe
Book excerpt: The 290-mile TST is formed by linking many existing trails into a continuous route. It visits lower elevations than the Muir Trail and crosses five roads that can be used for re-supplies, shuttles, or entry/exit points. The TST is a good alternative to the JMT during a heavy snow season. It parallels that more famous trail along the western slopes, from Cottonwood Basin northward to Glacier Point, Yosemite.
