Book excerpt: A fter a light dinner, having read his book for almost two hours and drinking his milk with honey, Ülgen was in his cozy bed at around 10 pm. He was comfortably asleep under his snow-white blanket. When he woke up, it was 4 am. The Denizli Rooster loudly crowed three times, then an absolute silence fell. Ülgen sat on the red Tibetan carpet in the middle of the living room, he turned south and dove deep into thoughts. He, as always, desired to know the unknown and see the invisible. There was so much he did not know; he almost felt the famous quote “All I know is that I know nothing” by Socrates slipped out of his mouth. How could he possibly know what he does not know, how could he reach the knowledge? He intended to dig deep and think about these thoroughly. Opening the window, he took ten deep breaths and started to focus on his thoughts while meditating. With his feet slightly apart, he stood in the middle of the carpet again. The room was semi-dark.
